Description

LASER (Automatic reading of serial numbers and consumptions in not remotely sensed counters) is a system for cross-checking the data tabulated by the meter readers with those visible in the images captured by themselves.
The low resolution, the different layout because of the various manufacturers of counters, the variety of information given on the same layout, but especially the unhappy shots of most of the photos (acquired without care by the meter readers) have made absolutely not easy to resolve the addressed issues.
