Description

PANTOMAS (PANTOgraph subMillimetric AnalysiS) is a diagnostic system devoted to monitor the pantographs of the high speed trains.
PANTOMAS is able not only to reconstruct in 3D (with an error less than one millimeter) the pantograph of trains passing through the high-speed network, but also to carry out an accurate diagnosis in terms of trim, consumption of the creeping and oscillations of the contact line, being able to automatically alert the operations center, and therefore the operators on board the locomotive about potential critical situations, before these can cause disservices to the line, or problems of even greater criticality.
